RIFT news tidbits for 6th August 2015.

General
- Primalist Announcement! Trion has officially announced that the 5th calling in the game is called Primalist. They’ve also released a video with some information on the calling, including that it will launch with 6 souls (with 4 additional ones in the future). Video and video analysis here.
- Primalist is coming in Patch 3.4. [r]
- Patch 3.4 is coming in Fall. (Some time between Sept 23rd and Dec 21st). [r]
- This also means that the Planetouched Wilds zone, Assault on Bronze Tomb warfront and Rhaza’de Canyon expert dungeon will also launch with 3.4.
- Cost: Info on the cost of Primalist will be revealed by Trion tomorrow morning. [r]
- More info about Primalist will be provided tomorrow and in coming weeks. There will also be livestreams that will show off the new stuff coming in 3.4. [r]
- Unicornalia Promo Week. Unicornalia Promo Week has begun, lasting from 3:30PM Server Time on August 6th to 3:30PM Server Time on August 13th. There’s dailies to obtain Sparkle Essence currency in Sanctum and Meridian. Opal and Onyx Mounts are available during the week. You can check out a guide for the promo week here!
- New Trion Logo. Trion has a new logo! It replaces the old logo which had the “I” as a slightly ajar door with a new one that makes the “O” a planet.
The logo is currently not updated on Trion’s own website, but it was shown throughout Trion’s Party at Gamescom, as well on the ‘wallpaper’ from their latest Primalist video.

- RIFT 3.3 Hotfix #6.5. Trion added a mini-fix today that didn’t require a server restart. If you haven’t downloaded it yet, just exit RIFT and launch it again. The small download should fix client-side crafting lag and re-enable Steam Wallet purchase of the Power Pack from the RIFT Store -> Services. [r]
- About Planar Dream Orbs [PTS]. Morticus has responded to feedback on the increased rng of the upcoming 3.4 planar dream orbs by stating that stats are not final. He also mentioned that the drop rates for imperishable motes will increase so that the motes cost of the new planar dream orbs will “no longer be relevant”.
- More Dream Orbs. Morticus also mentioned that there would be new “Improved <name> Dream Orbs” for the existing dream orbs. These will not need imperishables. [r]
- Planetouched Wilds – The Early Years. CaptainCursor showed off a screenshot from the Planetouched Wilds zone as it was years before the launch of RIFT. Check it out below!

- Wardrobe Bug. Trion is aware and will take a look at a bug that seems to make the Frost Keeper’s Mask wardrobe remain visible even in stealth. [r]
