RIFT news tidbits for 9-11th August 2015. Jam-packed news tidbits today with more info on The Wilds Pack and announcement that we are getting a Primalist livestream this week!

Info Updated: The Wilds Pack

Further information/clarifications have been provided by Trion in regards to The Wilds Pack.

• Loyalty. You get 87,500 Loyalty for purchasing The Wilds Pack. [r]

• Minion Card: Zendi. “Zendi” minion card has been added to the Minion Card Database. Although The Wilds Pack says you’ll get the card in 3.4, it’s actually been automatically added to your minion window if you purchase The Wilds Pack.
  • Zendi has Earth + Wind attributes with starting stamina of 12.
  • (Thanks to Dazzalotus and forbiddenlake for the info!)

• Character Extension. CM Ocho has confirmed that the Character Extension you get from The Wilds Pack will allow you to have up to 13 characters per shard. I.e., if you currently have 12 chars unlocked, buying The Wilds Pack will increase it to 13.
  • However, as mentioned in the pack, this 13th character slot unlock won’t be added to your account until 3.4 hits. [r]
  • This is currently the only way to reach 13 chars on a shard. No plans at present to offer alternate means of reaching 13. [r]

• Primal Warbeast to be Amphibious. CM Ocho has confirmed that the Primal Warbeast mount will become amphibious. Trion is currently working on animations to make the mount amphibious and there’s currently no ETA. However, the change to make the mount Amphibious will be applied retroactively. [r]

General

• Primalist Livestream This Friday! CM Ocho has confirmed that the Primalist calling will be shown off with a ton of details this Friday on Trion’s Twitch Channel. [r] Some of the stuff that will be addressed includes how the Primalist stats will work now that we know that STR/DEX have equally primary stats for the new calling. [r]
  • The Livestream Schedule on Trion’s Twitch Channel hasn’t been updated yet, but RIFT livestreams are usually at Friday 3:30PM PDT.
  • [Pure speculation, but maybe Trion will give away The Wilds Packs at the end of the stream?]
  • Red Hawk has clarified that the Primalist souls are not rehashes of existing souls. [r] [Unfortunately it seems some players are taking Seatin’s tongue-in-cheek joke video a little too seriously].

• About Instant Level 60 Items. CM Ocho has confirmed that you can use multiple Instant Level 60 items on the same account. You can get these from Infusion/Ultimate Nightmare Editions and the Power Pack on the RIFT Store -> Services. [r]

• More Optimizations. DEV_SupermanSocks has announced that next week (assuming no hiccups) there will be further optimizations and some additional monitoring added in to address ability lag. [r]

• Planar Crafted Dream Orbs Change. Morticus has announced that the planar crafted dream orbs currently on the PTS will be changed so that they have the same % chance of getting BiS as existing orbs. (I.e. 1 in 15 chance instead of their current 1 in 51 chance). [r]
  • I have removed the “Gloves (PTS)” sheet from the Dream Orb Stat Sheet as the stats are now outdated. Will re-add with the new stats once PTS is updated with the changes.

• Hydrogen Forums. Project Hydrogen. What is it? No one really knows although TehFrank, Ahov and SirSpaceboots have found a few pieces of information about it.
  • TehFrank mentioned that Project Hydrogen ‘might’ be related to the REACTOR trademark that Trion filed late last year.
  • Ahov has posted up the image currently available if you do a bit of digging that you can check out here.
  • And now SirSpaceboots has discovered that there exists a ‘Hydrogen’ Forums under trionworlds.com. You can check it out here, although it’s quite barbones right now.
  • For now your guess is as good as mine as to what Project Hydrogen relates to.

• ~Sweet Serenity~ [Dimensions]. Dimension Diva over at The Dimension Touring Company explores Kitasia@Deepwood’s ~Sweet Serenity~ dimension in her latest tour. The dimension has a wonderfully build garden and open-ended greenhouse-like structure in the middle. Check it out here!
