During PAX Prime 2015, Trion was busy providing demos and information on the upcoming RIFT 3.4: Into the Wilds patch to the media. MMORPG.com’s Robert Lashley has written up an information-filled article on the upcoming patch that you can check out below:

The article contains a bunch of screenshots introducing new Planetouched Wilds architecture, dinosaur mobs and corrupted Bahmi.

Briefly:

It also goes over some new tidbits about the patch.

  • There are different ‘gravitational fields’ in various parts of the Planetouched Wilds, allowing you to “jump to new heights” in certain areas.
  • Poison Artifacts can be seen by getting a debuff that deals damage to you, but allows you to see poison artifacts. You’ll have a chance at getting a 2nd debuff whilst collecting Poison Artifacts that deals more damage but allows you to see Burning Artifacts. Yet another chance of getting a 3rd debuff whilst collecting Burning Artifacts, that will deal even more damage, but allow you to see Nightmare Artifacts.
  • “full time beta is set to begin in September”.

Check out the article over at MMORPG.com for full information, as well as two Planetouched Wilds screenshots and a screenshot of ‘Lady Justice’ from the upcoming 20-man raid, Mind of Madness (‘Lord Arak Raid’).
