Notice: Trion is holding a temporary 25% off discount on the RIFT Store for equipment, upgrade parts and some trophies. The discount stacks with your 10% Patron discount.
Equipment Discount
A whole bunch of equipment has been affected by the temporary sale. All these items can be accessed via RIFT Store -> Equipment.
Equipment affected include:
- Bundles
- Armor
- Weapons
- Accessories
The discount applies to all gear mentioned above with a Credit option on the RIFT Store, including gear as low as the Ascended starter gear (Level 1).
Essences, Foci and Runes have not been discounted. Anything that does not have a Credit price (like Tier 2 gear) have not been affected.
Upgrade Parts Discount
Upgrade Parts found under RIFT Store -> Equipment -> Upgrade Parts have also had the discount applied to them.
Primalist Gearing?
For anyone looking to main a Primalist and don’t mind using Credits, the current discounts might be enticing. That said, there’s always in-game routes to gearing up your Primalist and we don’t know yet if Trion has any other plans to make it easier for new Primalists to catch up with the rest of their guild.
The current iteration of Primalist benefits equally between Strength and Dexterity as their primary stat. This is subject to change though.
Trophy Discount
Oddly, some of the Trophies found under RIFT Store -> Trophies have been discounted. This only applies to the accessories and some of the ‘baubles’. Discount does not apply to mounts, pets or dimension items.
Trophies are the items rewarded from completing achievements or certain artifact sets. The Trophies section of the RIFT Store allows you to purchase multiple copies of the same reward so you can send them to your alts.
End Of Sale Date
Sale ends this Sunday, 6th September 2015 at 11:59PM PDT.
does anyone buy the armor sets for like 300-400 real dollars? now obviously people can do what they want with their money, but i always figured they just cost way too much IMO. i guess it could help for people who dont raid like my self.
I’ve seen a few players in-game here and there who ‘seem’ like they bought a bundle. $300-400 isn’t much to some players. I like to think of it like comparing a $1,600 sofa to a $1,200 one. Go for the cheaper option and then you have money to spend on other things that might give you more entertainment value. I wouldn’t pay real money for in-game armor, but that’s just a personal preference.
