RIFT news tidbits for 11-15th September 2015.

General

• Open Testing Has Begun. Testing for the upcoming Primalist calling and the new Planetouched Wilds zone have opened up to all players on the PTS. You can learn more about accessing the PTS, gearing up and posting feedback here.
  • Any Primalist discussion/feedback can be viewed in the new Primalist Discussion sub-forum. The second post of each ‘[Soul] Updates’ thread by Vladd will list fixes and any known issues Trion is addressing. E.g. Vulcanist Updates.

• Upcoming Planned Maintenance. Trion will be taking the RIFT shards down tomorrow (Tuesday) for some maintenance on their accounts site and back-end services. Estimated downtime is ~2hrs and 15min.
  • North America: 9/15/15 at 7:30AM PDT.
  • Europe: 9/15/15 at 2:30PM GMT.

• Testing Rhaza’de Canyons. Rhaza’de Canyons Expert Dungeon was unavailable due to a conflict in permissions for general players on the PTS. This should be fixed up at some point on Monday (although it seems like it might be delayed). [r]

• Livestream: Rhaza’de Canyons. In the mean-time, Trion held their latest livestream last week previewing the Rhaza’de Canyons. Check out the recorded video here! RIFT portion starts at 1hr 20min 50sec into the video.

• PTS Update for 9th Sept 2015. In case you missed it, rune stats for the new Illustrious/Magnificent tier coming in 3.4 have been adjusted down. There’s also a Dancing Yeti dimension item and some other minor additions. [Article]

• About Lucky Fortune Bundle. Kiwi has posted up info about the Lucky Fortune bundle on the RIFT Store (PTS). It will allow you to craft a dimension oven as well as Lucky Fortune Cookies that will give you fun, fluff items. [r]

• About Mount Sale Gifting. The mount sale that lasted until the end of the weekend is over and engineers were unable to deploy a fix in time to allow gifting of the limited time mounts. Archonix has mentioned that Trion will hold another mount sale weekend in the future when the gifting option is fixed. [r]

• Refurbishment at Trion. Trion Office has been undergoing some refurbishment in light of the upgrades to the site and logo. Captain Cursor has posted up some old vs new pics you can check out here!
