The Arclight Infiltration Promo Week has begun again for RIFT, lasting from 17th September 3:30PM Server Time until 24th September 3:30PM ST. The Limited Edition: Crystalline Lifter Trove will be available on the RIFT Store until 29th Sept. (According to RIFT 3.3 Hotfix #13)
The Arclight Infiltration Promo Week is all about the Rider mounts and this time round the focus is on a brand new Crystalline Lifter!
Briefly:
- Obtain Magnetic Containment Bottle currency from dailies in Scarwood Reach or via the promo week’s lockbox.
- Rare chance drop of the Crystalline Lifter from the new Limited Edition: Crystalline Lifter Trove. The lockbox also has a chance at dropping Tier 1 gear or Heart of the Frozen.
- You can purchase the Storm Legion Lifter and Arclight Lifter mounts from the PRI Quartermaster with Magnetic Containment Bottle currency.
- You get ~357 Pelagic Order notoriety (probably dependent on your bonuses) for each Legion Infiltrator mob you kill! (Thanks to Lifeismystery for the info!)
So basically the money grab… Err… Event is all sorts of broken. Nice.
Yea, someone forgot to check everything when they copy-pasted the Necrotic Lifter Trove code. The mount is the correct one though if you are lucky enough to obtain it.
Went to do the Captain Feldain quest today – but he wasn’t there – so did message them about it – in the hopes it is a Bug – they fix it before the end of the event – and that they alot us the points wev’e missed out on while it was bugged :oP
Just a heads up that it is now set to autocomplete for this promo week since they can’t get a fix in on time.
Edit: Correction. Looks like that’s not working properly either. [r] So no carnage quest for this week.
The Captain Feldain quest completed for me after the third boss IGP.
The autocomplete that Kerilar mentioned probably worked for anyone who had the quest up already, but might not have worked for those picking up the quest afterwards.
I used to get 2 quests from the quest givers and then just go do the dungeon with no quest and he was there at the end – atm am getting the one quest to kill those guys [ya forgot who they r….lol] and other quest is completing right away for me atm. But that isn’t the one for the dungeon is it? Am sure always did 3 altog
Oh ya – forgot to say – the auto complete has been completing for me each day so far

Well went to do the Arclight quests today and the Quest givers are gone! Did they change their minds about the 29th being the end date on this? Or am i the only one that cannot see them?….lol [anything is possible :oP]

Just commented on the site that the quest guys are not there for the Arclight
Now looking at the 3.3 – #13 – I cannot see anything about an extension – just that Captain Feldain is no longer AWOL.
But they did say – ‘Due to a bug with the model preview for the Limited Edition: Crystalline Lifter Trove we’ve extended sales through 9/29!’ Maybe the mentioned extension was a mistake – and they have rewritten it for the Crystalline Lifter Trove?

Hmm, looks like the hotfix notes might have only been referring to the Trove on the Store itself and not the entire event. Thanks for the heads up Mischka! 😀
NP 🙂 – I did go into the dungeon just to see if ‘Maybe’ they decided to leave Captain Feldain in place – seeing as we only got him 2x this Promo – but no such luck……lol
