Notice: As of today, Trion has sent out a games-related survey to various RIFT players. If you receive the survey, please complete it prior to the 28th September 2015.
It’s unknown if you needed to have subscribed to received RIFT newsletters prior to the e-mails being sent out, or if the e-mail is sent at random to RIFT players.
However, if you do receive the e-mail, it will have the below message:
The survey might not be sent to everyone. If you don’t receive an e-mail from Trion about the survey before the 28th September, then you probably missed out/weren’t randomly selected.
That said, make sure to check your e-mail’s inbox and spam folders over the next few days. If you’re a gmail user, check your Primary, Social and Promotions tabs as well.
Just in case there’s any scam e-mails going around, please note:
- Trion will not ask you for your login details. The survey link already has an ID that is linked up to your RIFT account, so you can complete the survey without having to log into the game, and Trion will already know who to send the free 7-day patron to.
- E-mail will be sent by email@example.com.
- The Survey link is to surveyanalytics.com. If your Survey link doesn’t go to surveyanalytics, it might be a fake e-mail.
Note: Since the survey link from Trion’s e-mail is specific to your account, you won’t be able to forward the e-mail to your friends for them to complete. Trying to do the survey more than once will result in the following error page:
As a thank you for completing the survey:
- Trion will provide you with 7 days of free Patron if you complete the survey before the cut-off date of 28th Sept 2015. The patron time will be applied after Sept 30th.
- Completing the survey will enter you into a draw to win Silver Tier Loyalty status. This is the final tier of Loyalty, giving you all the rewards from Silver Tier and all prior tiers.
