Open Testing

Open testing for the Primalist calling and the Planetouched Wilds zone is up on the Public Test Shard. You can learn more about accessing the PTS, gearing up and posting feedback here.

General

• Planned Shard Downtime. Shards will be going down for RIFT 3.3: Hotfix #14 tomorrow:
  • North America: 9/30/15 at 7:30 AM PDT. ~1hr 15min downtime.
  • Europe: 10/1/15 at 1AM GMT. ~3hrs due to additional maintenance. [Probably the Hardware upgrades for EU that NA got last week].

• Patron & Credit Pricing Update. TrionBrasse has posted up details about patron and credit pricing changes coming with 3.4 due to changing exchange rates. US prices haven’t changed for Credit Packs, although Patron subscription has become dearer. Check out full information here.
  • Note: You can continue to use your current Patron subscription price as long as you maintain your subscription. I.e. if you’re on an $100/yr deal, you’ll remain on it as long as you maintain your subscription.
  • In the post, TrionBrasse also mentioned that 3.4 would go live “on or about October 7, 2015″ (Wednesday). Looks like excluding any unforeseen circumstances, we’ll probably get RIFT 3.4 next week.

• Road to Primalist: Pack Giveaway & Contest. With just a week to go until 3.4, RiftGrate is holding both a contest and giveaway for 2x Primalist Calling Packs. Enter the giveaway for a Primalist Pack, or answer the Contest Question to be entered to both. Contest ends midnight on Monday 5th October 2015. Full details here!

• Further Primalist Typhoon Updates. Vladd has updated the PTS again, this time with further Primalist Typhoon soul changes including damage rebalance (no more 740k dps!), Withdrawal on 30s CD and fixing Primal Avatar: Griffon to 1m CD. Full info here.

• Planetouched Wilds Quest Bug Fixes. “The Siege of Shal Korva” has had some adjustments with the latest update so that ‘Sun’s Gift’ and Karmic abilities will be easier to re-obtain if you die. There’s also some damage mitigation and healing adjustments to the instance’s abilities. [r]

• Official Ongoing Dimension Request List. Morticus has updated the list of requests from dimensioneers. Check out the full list here, and add yours in the thread!

• RIFT Tip. Since there’s a whole new tier of runes coming out in 3.4, you might want to consider getting your Hazy Dreams (for Opaque Rune Amenders) crafted up. Those have 20hr CDs and you’ll want quite a few to upgrade all your runes.

• Great Hound Promotion Ending. Just a heads up that the GREY2K USA Greathound mount promotion ends on 30th Sept. You can learn more about it here.
