RIFT news tidbits for 1st October 2015.

General

• Promo: Budgie Madness Week. Budgie Madness Week is back, now with new Canariente mount. The mount has flaming vfx at the back of its head and tail feathers. All 3 Budgie Racing dailies are available now until next Thursday, 8th October at 3:30PM server time. More info here.

• RIFT Livestream this Friday. Trion will be holding a RIFT Livestream, providing a final overview of RIFT 3.4 before it comes out next week. Be sure to join Ocho, Archonix, Dead Simon and Kerilar this Friday, 2nd Oct at 3:30PM PDT on their twitch channel!

• Guide: RIFT 3.4 Crafting. There’s quite a few additions coming to crafting in 3.4 next week, including a new tier of runes and pots, planar crafted: earrings, seals and dream orbs for belt/gloves/earrings, and a new feast. Check out the RIFT 3.4 Crafting guide for information on where to obtain the recipes, costs and stats.

• PTS Update + Datamining for 30th Sept 2015. Welcome Message update with some info; Primalist Pack on PTS; Primalist Capes skins; new snake staff icon weapon; Crystalline Scale item preview and new Wilds dailies scattered across the zone. More info here.

• Class-Related Info:
  • Warrior Tempest Changes. Damage buffs, shield buff and Focused Fire becomes personal buff. More info here.
  • Warrior Riftblade Bug. Vladd has discovered that the damage bonus from Intensify is not applying to Icy Burst or its clone, Rift Burst. As such it is currently under performing. No ETA on a fix. [r]
  • Primalist Vulcanist Update. Fury Blast DoT no longer ticks after death; added Weapon Damage to Furious Power and all weapon/AP talents increase by 4% per point now. [r]
  • Primalist Draining. Primalists are currently not affected by drains. Red Hawk is adding a mechanic that will cause Primalists to have less throughput when they are drained. Will hit PTS ‘very soon’. [r]
  • Cleric Shaman Changes. Clerics have gotten some damage boosts of about 100-1k damage for most abilities on the PTS. There’s also an across-the-board 20% reduction in mana costs. No ETA on when these will hit Live. More info here. [r]
  • Cleric & Mage Bug Fixes. Red Hawk mentioned that he has fixed a bunch of Cleric and Mage bugs for 3.4. No details, but they’ll be in the patch notes next week. [r]

• RIFT 3.3 Hotfix #15. A hotfix came out today to revert the changes made to instance respawning to before hotfix #14. This means soul-walking will no longer force respawn you to the beginning of the instance, but respawning will also go back to making you soul-walk outside the instance. [r]
  • Soul Walk CDs are available for purchase again. [r]

• Mobile API Update. CM Ocho has announced that Trion’s engineering team is working to find a solution so that RIFT Event Trackers will continue to function properly after the Mobile App is removed when 3.4 hits. [r]
