RIFT news tidbits for 7th October 2015. The RIFT 3.4: Into the Wilds patch has released onto live shards!
General
- RIFT 3.4 Into the Wilds Launches. The new patch is up and it’s a hefty one at just under 4GB. A lot of new content has hit Live including the Primalist calling, Planetouched Wilds zone, Rhaza’de Canyons dungeon, Assault on Bronze Tomb warfront and more!
- Patch Notes + Additional Info. Patch notes have been posted up for the latest patch! I’ve also included a bunch of additional info including key waypoints and various other points of interest. Check all the info here!
- Primalist Unleashed: RIFT 3.4 is Live! Trion has posted up a brief article announcing the launch of RIFT 3.4! There’s also a trailer for the patch you can watch here.
- Wilds Celebration – Free Gifts and Rewards. Trion is celebrating the launch of RIFT 3.4: Into the Wilds with multiple gifts and rewards to all players. These are all claimable in your Reward/Claim box on the RIFT Store (default key “]“) front page.
- The Wilds Celebration Pack. Available for anyone who logs into their account now through to Oct 30th 2015, you will get a Seafoam Crabnarok Mount, Ascended Seal, Shalistiri Weapon Costume Pack, Trove of Boosts and 1mil PA XP.
- Primalist Celebration Gifts (Daily). Between Saturday Oct 10th and Friday Oct 16th, a daily Primalist Celebration Gift will appear in your claim box. Each day will have a different reward. Be sure to log in and claim each day so you don’t miss out!

- 3.4 Known Issues Thread. CM Morgana has posted up a thread with known issues in the game since 3.4. Found an issue? Post it up here.
- Auction House Issues. Player reports have shown inconsistent pricing on the AH. Be very wary of the Suggested Price when posting – it might be very off from the AH prices. There’s also various timeout/load/filter issues.
- Character Stuck Issue. If you are unable to access your character, try disabling addons and restarting the game. If that doesn’t work, post in TrionBrasse’s thread here and CS will try to fix your character manually. There will likely be a hotfix tomorrow (8th Oct) that will hopefully correct the issue. [r]
- RIFT 3.4 Hotfix #1. Trion has updated EU shards and has scheduled downtime for NA shards tomorrow at 10/8/15 7:30 AM PDT for RIFT 3.4 Hotfix #1. Estimated downtime for NA is ~1hr 15min. Patch consists of some bug fixes for the new zone and Primalist, as well as various loot issues. Full notes here.
- Class Guides. There’s been a few changes to various souls in the game with the launch of 3.4. You can read the notes here. Some players have now posted up guides in relation to these changes:
- Wilds Weeklies. The four weeklies in the Planetouched Wilds are located at /setwaypoint 10113 4944 in the Plain of the Ancestors. Having trouble jumping to the questgivers? Be sure to have Shalistiri’s Gift (superjump) buff up. It is given to you throughout the zone, but you can lose it if you teleport or switch shards. Simply switch back to your home shard and/or relog to regain it. After that, the jumps are easy. More info here.
- If you are on the NA shards, join the crossevents channel to find groups for the open world raid weekly bosses; just type /join crossevents@faeblight into your chat.
- No Livestream This Week. Trion has posted up their livestream schedule for 9th Oct 2015. There’s no RIFT this week. That said, the most recent RIFT livestream mentioned that we might get a “Mind of Madness” preview stream next week showing off the upcoming Tier 3 20-man raid!
