General

• Grim’s Guide to the Primalist. Trion has posted up an article with an official video hosted by Grim the Gamer about the new Primalist calling. Check out Grim’s Guide to the Primalist here!

• One more Trion Twitter Giveaway.  If you’ve been following the giveaways, @Riftgame has been posting images with 6x The Wilds Pack game codes per image. Trion’s RIFT twitter handle has mentioned that there will be one more twitter-based giveaway at some point between 8:15am and 5pm PDT, tomorrow 13th Oct 2015! Be sure to follow @Riftgame, get your ‘Apply Code’ page ready and keep an eye out for that image tweet!

• Primalist Celebration Gift: Planetouched Pinata. Note that this Tuesday’s Primalist Celebration Gift is the Planetouched Pinata. Consume the item and a pinata will spawn. Kill the pinata that spawns and 10 random players within 30m of the pinata will get “Joly Supply Crates worth of rewards”! Be sure to claim your reward in your Claim window when Tuesday hits!
  • Note: Must be Level 60 to toss. Can be any level to receive the Primalist Celebration Gift, as long as you log in to collect the reward on 13th Oct 2015. The Primalist Celebration Gift will be different the next day, so don’t miss out!
  • Archonix has confirmed we’ll be getting a 2nd Pinata with the correct loot table, so you can freely consume your Tuesday Pinata! [r]

• Welcome Message Response. RIFT Game Director Archonix has posted a lengthy response to player complaints about the new welcome message. In short, Trion understands not everyone is fond of the new welcome message, but additions like the Welcome Message helps to fund and maintain a large RIFT team. Full post here.
  • Note: Current window popping up with every character login is unintended. Trion’s initial limits (20hr CD per account) didn’t work. They’ll put in a fix so that it triggers once per account.

• About Callweddi Puzzle. Dead Simon has mentioned that for the puzzle-related Mosaic, where the Disguised Puzzle Pieces are is random for different players. Also, each puzzle has 4 possible hiding spots. He will also be making the Goboro Reef puzzle piece locations easier. You can check out his post here.
  • Puzzle Info. If you’re interested in completing the full Callweddi puzzle, you can check out an on-going thread about it here.
  • Callweddi Village Vendors. The_Clam93 was able to get up to Callweddi Village to briefly check out some of the vendors using memory capture. He couldn’t purchase anything because he hasn’t completed the puzzle that grants proper access to the village, but you can check out his album here!
    • It differs from the August livestream where Dead Simon showed off the various vendors. Seems like there’s a lot less puzzle boxes on sale.

• Void Stones Galore! Just a heads up that there’s a lot of void stones gained from Storm Legion raid bosses, Unstable Zone Events and Volan. Player Ahnastashia has posted up that she got ~3k void stones from one Volan event (Dreams of Blood and Bone) and it seems Unstables are giving 1k VS (prior to bonuses).

• Weapons To Be Updated. Various gear is getting a few additions/fixes with this week’s hotfix:
  • Primalist Weapons for Favor. Level 1-50 Primalist weapons for favor in the store. [r]
  • Rhaza’de Canyons Ranged Weapon Procs. Ranged weapons dropped from Rhaza’de Canyons will get a proc for their upgrade. [r]

• Primalist Titan Threat Buff. A “big threat buff” is slated for Titan in this week’s hotfix, along with several bug fixes. [r]

• Assault on Bronze Tomb Undecided Bug. If you go into the Assault on Bronze Tomb warfront, you might end up teleporting continuously between both teams’ bases. [Video by Waseem2k] Fix will be in this week’s hotfix. [r]

  • Also, don’t forget that this month the Rift-Wardrobe monthly wardrobe contest has a Halloween/Autumn/Scary theme! Be sure to enter for a chance at one of 2x Power Packs (for Wardrobe category) or 1x The Wilds Pack (for Scene category). [r]

• Rhaza’de Canyons Notes [Guide-ish]. Nithydux on the RIFT Forums has posted up a write-up of her experience in the new Rhaza’de Canyons Expert Dungeon. Not a full list of mechanics, but she has posted up what she has observed. Should help you next time you run the dungeon! Check it out here!

• Teth Co-ordinates [Thread][Achievement]. CplRattler has begun a thread posting up where everyone is finding various Teth. Check it out here, and start your journey to killing all 55 Teth in the Planetouched Wilds!

• Sweet Sheep Cribs [Dimension]. Seyler over at The Dimension Touring Company has posted up a preview of all the dimension entries to Kiwi’s recent contest. Check out previews here, and be sure to tour them in-game!

• Dance Party Soon [Dimension]. Seyler over at DTC shows off the new Dancing Yeti dual-use item that you can summon either in the open world or place in your dimension. She also talks about other Dancing Partners you can get, as well as the two new ones coming with the Primalist Celebration Daily Gifts! Check out her article here!

• PrancingTurtle Updated [Parser]. The PrancingTurtle online log parser by Hewi has been updated for most of the Primalist abilities and there’s now a dropdown for the new class. [r]
