Did you miss out on yesterday’s MMOHuts.com “Into the Wilds Gift” planar squirrel giveaway? They started off with 3,000 keys and Trion added 1,500 more keys for them to give away.
Well, never fret! PCGamesN.com has just posted up an “Into the Wilds Gift” giveaway with 10,000 codes!!!
Instructions
Here’s the instructions to claim the code:
- Head over to the giveaway page.
- Head to the bottom of the article (not the page) and you’ll see a ‘widget’ titled “Claim one of 10,000 RIFT gift codes!”. [Image ref] There might be a small ‘Rift’ plain-text link at the bottom of the article instead of the widget. Click on the ‘Rift’ link to have the widget appear. [Image ref]
- Click on one of the question marks (“?”) and after you complete the ‘activity’, the widget’s “Continue” button will turn green. Click on it to reveal your code! If you aren’t into social media, you can just choose the “Visit PCGamesN to enter!” option where it will load up the site.
- Claim your key by copy/pasting the code to Trion Worlds’ Apply Code Page. (You’ll need to log into your Trion/RIFT/Glyph account).
- The “Into the Wilds Gift” will appear in your claim/reward window in the top-right corner of your RIFT Store front page. If it doesn’t appear, try exiting out of the game entirely and relogging.
If the code doesn’t work for you, try making sure you don’t have any extra spaces or missed a character and try again. If you get an error, apply it again and if it says you’ve already claimed it, that means it’s been correctly added to your account.
Remember: Only one code can be applied per account.
Note: The Widget seems to use Javascript, so you’ll need to enable it for the website. If you’re getting a ‘Loading’ image, just wait a while and it should pop up.
Note2: Keys expire Dec 31st 2015.
Into the Wilds Gift
The Into the Wilds Gift is Bound to Account and provides one of 6 Planar Squirrel mounts, four Nightmare costume weapons and 1mil PA XP. (PA XP is auto-consumed).
It will appear in your Claim/Rewards window in the top-right corner of the RIFT Store (default key “]“) front page. If you can’t see it after applying the code to your RIFT/Trion account, you might need to relog.
Squirrel Mounts
The Into the Wilds Gift contains one of 6 planar squirrel mounts. They match your fastest mount speed and are Bound to Account (not account-wide unlock).
There’s plenty of Planar Squirrel Mounts running around RIFT now!

It took me some time to find the link to the widget (on Chrome I had to click the ‘Rift’ labelled link at the bottom of the article to open it), but I hope I’ll have a nice squirrel, thanks to you !

I don’t see any “widget” on the Giveaway page.
Nor do I see any Widget giveaway :o/ I see nothing like the [Image ref] – or anywhere where it says “Visit PCGamesN to enter!” only ? I see is below the giveaway – next to pics of several games. But decided to click on Twitter anyway – and Nothing – just takes me to my own page :o/ I decided as i am running Vista – maybe it was IE being the lower one that makes it not show – so opened Chrome – but Still no difference :o/ Am i doing something wrong – do we need to Login/reg with the site? Going to try again…..lol
OK – clicked on Twitter Icon – and all I get is my sign-in page with the bit asking me to Tweet this: Rift giveaway! YAY!!! GOT the CODE! I clicked the RIFT link as i said above and got the Link I put above – clicked for TWITTER – then the Twitter page comes up – Clicked FOLLOW PCGAMESN etc – signed in to my Twitter acc – and the Code popped up on the Widgets Page – here is the Link once more for the Widgets page https://gleam.io/yewZ4/rift
Click the RIFT link near the bottom, it will send you to widget choices, then when you click one it will give you the code.
Thanks for the information everyone! I’ll update the article with further details about how to summon the widget.
