• Extra Life 2015. The 24hr charity gaming weekend is fast-approaching and Trion Worlds will be participating in Extra Life for the 5th year in a row. You can check out their team page here! Fundraising milestones haven’t been announced yet, but you can check out RiftGrate’s Extra Life 2015 article for everything you need to know about the upcoming event!
  • Mark your calendars for Extra Life: 7th-8th Nov weekend!

• RIFT 3.4 Hotfix #3. Latest hotfix fixes a few bugs; adds Level 10-50 favor weapons for Primalists to the RIFT Store; makes Strangely Mutated Fish easier to obtain by placing the pool outside the Biofoundry lockout; Rainbow Glue price reduction and a bunch more changes. Full hotfix notes here.

• RIFT Team AMA. CM Ocho held a RIFT Ask Me Anything on /r/MMORPG today, joined by Lead Engineer Snedhepl, Lead Systems Designer Vladd and Senior Systems Designer Red Hawk. They answered quite a few questions and revealed some upcoming changes to Warlord, Reaver, Cleric healers’ resource management and Defiler.

• RIFT Twitter Giveaway. Trion will be holding another The Wilds Pack giveaway (includes Primalist soul, Primal Warbeast mount and more!) tomorrow on their twitter account: @Riftgame. The tweet will be in the form of an image that will likely contain 6x The Wilds Pack codes (based on past tweets). No exact ETA on when the tweet will happen.

• “Into the Wilds” Giveaways Expanded. Haven’t gotten your hands on an “Into the Wilds” Pack (random planar squirrel mount, 1mil PA XP + 4 Nightmare weapon skins)? Don’t fret, previous giveaway pages have been updated with more keys and we now have even more gaming sites joining in on the promotion!
  • OnRPG.com boosted keys to 8k from 4.5k. 2,409 left as at the time of this post.
  • MMOHuts.com boosted keys to 8k from 4.5k. 2,403 left as at the time of this post.
  • MMORPG.com is giving out 8k codes. 5,199 left as at the time of this post.
  • PCGamesN.com is giving out 10k codes. Unknown how many codes are left.

• Autumn Harvest Date Revealed. The latest Welcome Window reveals the start date for Autumn Harvest this year as 3:30PM Server Time (NA: PDT; EU: GMT) on Thursday, 22nd October 2015! [Image Ref]

• PTS Datamining: Autumn Harvest 2015. PTS received an ~890mb update. Data files show new Autumn Harvest costumes, backpacks, masks, cape and bat wings. There’s also a spooky “Spinderella” mount and a skin for a Gold/Red Armored Crabnarok mount. Full info + Screens here!

• UI Displacement Bug. Trion is aware of a UI bug that has been introduced with the latest hotfix. This bug seems to make your bag positions move at random; chat windows placed in the right side of your window to move off-screen; Map UI issues; BiS Calendar addon tab placement issues/etc. Fix will come in a future hotfix (no ETA). [r] [r]

• The Five Kahns Weekly Quest Disabled. Kerilar has disabled “The Five Kahns” weekly quest in the Planetouched Wilds as killing Kahn is not properly rewarding quest completion. A fix will go up in next week’s hotfix. [r]

• About Billion Damage Bug. Snedhepl has taken steps to fix the billion-damage bug that popped up last reset week. The fix he put in was not included in today’s hotfix notes, but it should hopefully fix the issue. If you are still experiencing this bug, please provide a screenshot of your combat log and post it here!
