Trion had their 30th October 2015 Friday Livestream with Community Manager Eric “Ocho” Cleaver, Senior Content Designer Chris “Tacitus” Cates and Lead Content Designer Julia “Darkmoon” Flemming. Unfortunately Senior Concept Artist Stephen “Drakcoon” Mabee was unable to make it, so Darkmoon to his place.

Livestream Summary
As mentioned before, this week’s livestream was relatively light on content so I’ll just be including key points below:
Autumn Harvest
Autumn Harvest is a world event that is currently running in-game. (Laethys and Hailol players might not be able to see the World Event Tracker). You can learn all about the world event here.
Just mentioning things from the stream:
- There’s special Autumn Harvest Gloamwood Instant Adventures running for the event’s duration. There’s an achievement related to these adventures.
- The 7x Autumn Harvest Signets quest will appear via Rollo in the Realm of Twisted Dreams after next Wednesday’s hotfix (4th Nov).
- The Spinderella Mount was Senior Concept Artist Stephen “Drakcoon” Mabee’s idea!
Autumn Harvest ends on Friday, 13th Nov 2015.
Fae Yule
Tacitus hast started work on Fae Yule world event.
- This year he is adding new Instant Adventures to the Iron Pine Peak zone in Mathosia.
- There’s also 6 new Gift Artifact Sets. There’s already 6 about the dragon cults in the game, but 6 more will be added as zone events (similar to Unstables) for Fae Yule. You’ll have half an hour to collect the various gift box artifact nodes scattered throughout the zone during said zone events.
Patch 3.5 Info
Two teasers about Patch 3.5 revealed:
- There might be something Open World PvP-related being added to 3.5, although CM Ocho mentioned it wasn’t what players are thinking of.
- Trion might reveal information about Patch 3.5 during the next RIFT Livestream in ~2 weeks’ time (13th Nov).

- Another Conquest test will be scheduled in the future to remove Premade raids.

Mind of Madness comes out next week, 4th Nov 2015! Be sure to bring your Hit up to 1,400. Tier 3 has some changes to the upgrade system (free tank gear sidegrade!) and it looks like Tier 1 store gear will have their cost changed from Fragments of Horror to Abyssal Crusader’s Marks. You mean “Abyssal Crusader’s Marks” (NT expert level currency) rather than “Empyreal Slayer’s Marks” (old SL currency which has been converted already).

I thought the bit about future expansions ‘might happen’ was a differently toned response from them usually proudly proclaiming they have plenty of content for expansion. I wonder if the current trend of sequencial content will mean they’re instead of a expansion of zones, they’re gonna try more frequent smaller updates like GW2/Asheron’s Call or their t3 zone expansions (PTW, dendrome, ember isle). Especially since if it was a full blown expansion I would hope they would have actually started it already.
That’s a good point; hopefully they are planning an expansion though since it generates more news/hype than just frequent, smaller updates; which is important for bringing in new and returning players. Usually Trion doesn’t officially announce an expansion until a very long time after it’s already in at least closed testing.
