Extra Life 2015 – Summary

Extra Life has raised more than $6.3mil as at 8am on 8th Nov! The Trion Worlds 2015 team raised $70k as at the time of this post! Big thanks to everyone for participating, donating and spreading the message!

• Additional General Fundraising Milestone Reward. At some point over the weekend, a new $15 milestone reward popped up for Extra Life. Gives you free gelatinous cube companion in Neverwinter + exclusive ‘Dagger of Venom’ in Sword Coast Legends. Codes will be sent out via e-mail mid-Nov.

• About General Fundraising Milestone Rewards. Codes for the various general non-Trion-related Extra Life fundraising milestone rewards should have already been sent out to those who reach the associated fundraising milestones (except for those rewards that specifically state they’ll be sent out later). You can be in any team (or solo) for the general fundraising rewards.
  • General Extra Life fundraising milestone rewards can be unlocked until December 31st 2015!
  • If you managed to reach the $200+ milestones, make sure you check your e-mail. Extra Life T-shirt must be redeemed prior to Dec 31st 2015. Instructions on how to redeem your Extra Life Hero Medals will be sent out in Jan 2016.

• About Trion Fundraising Milestone Rewards. Trion’s own fundraising milestone rewards will be sent out via e-mail next week. [r] You must have joined/linked your fundraising page to Trion Worlds 2015 for the rewards.

• About Livestream Giveaways. Trion’s 24hr livestream had a whole heap of giveaways including 1-year Patron passes, Levitate mounts and Wilds Packs. If you managed to snag one of the giveaways, a private message will be sent to your Twitch inbox (or the ‘Other’ tab in your inbox). From the livestream, it seems it may take up to a week or so for Trion to message you.

• RiftGrate Fundraiser. RiftGrate shot past this year’s fundraising goal with $515 raised for the kids as at the time of this post, thanks to a whole bunch of awesome gamers! Big thanks to those who donated and spread the word! ‘Donate for Kids’ contest and ‘Spread the Word’ giveaway winners will have codes sent out to them within the next week!

General

• Livestream Summary: Extra Life 2015. Trion held their 24hr Extra Life livestream over the weekend with streams for each of their game titles. In RIFT they held a dino-hunting event, Q&A session as well as the annual Corgi run. During the Q&A session, Trion revealed some teasers to future content including weapon wardrobe vfx, MoM IA and possible additional patron rewards in 3.5. Learn more here!

• Reminder: Autumn Harvest Ending. Autumn Harvest ends on Friday, 13th Nov 2015 at 3:30PM server time. Be sure to complete the one-off “Fright Night” quest from Rollo in the special Autumn Harvest instance for 7x Signets!

• Siege of Shal Korva Quest Issues. Besides the ‘don’t-skip-objectives’ bug mentioned previously, Teth Torok himself has some issues with his attack behaviour. Dev Icarus has submitted a fix for the next hotfix. [r]

• Mind of Madness Progression & Videos. Five guilds have now left their marks on the new Tier 3 20-man raid “The Mind of Madness”! You can check out full standings at TopofRift.com! Congratulations to the following guilds on their kills:
  • Apotheosys (Typhiria, EU) with World 1st Pagura, World 1st Lord Arak, World 1st Fauxmire, World 1st Lady Envy and World 2nd Vis and Misericordia! That’s 5/9, and 5/5 of the currently released bosses!
