RIFT news tidbits for 20th November 2015.
General
- RIFT 3.4 Hotfix #10. RIFT has been updated to 3.4 Hotfix #10. Just a small update to fix a potential exploit in the minions system. [r] [r]
- RIFT: Guide to Massive Dynamic Battles [Video]. RIFT has uploaded a video guide by Seatin talking about massive dynamic battles like Volan. Check it out here!
- PTS Update: Patch 3.5 Content. The PTS has been updated with a large ~2.92GB download. Contains most of the Patch 3.5 stuff mentioned in last week’s livestream. Includes: Affinity System + Rewards; Fae Yule items; Trove/PTW dimension item bundles/grab bags (incl. Shal Korva key); and Tier 2 PvP weapons, accessories and armor.
- Warmonger’s Update. Latest PTS update added a new upgrade tier for Marauder’s Supply Caches, bringing armor/accessories to Tier 2, as well as Tier 1 PvP weapons on the RIFT Store that can be upgraded to Tier 2 with procs. Be sure to check out Stihl’s thread here where he has put together complete information about the stats and upgrade costs for the new gear.
- Extra Life Codes & Titles Sent. As of this morning, Extra Life fundraising milestone reward codes should be starting to be sent out in batches. For those eligible, you should receive a separate e-mail for each fundraising milestone you reached from community@trionworlds.com. (for gmail users, it might be in your Promotions tab). Title rewards were also sent to your in-game mail at some point in the afternoon.
- Note: It might still take some time for all e-mails to be sent out and there may be delays depending on your e-mail service provider. Be sure to have community@trionworlds.com whitelisted.
- MoM 2nd Release Teased. CM Ocho has given a teaser for the release date for the last 4 bosses of the Mind of Madness raid: if Trion follows their normal schedule, “the last possible date of probable release would be the 16th” (of Dec). [r]
- Primalist Dervish Bugs. Red Hawk has announced that the latest PTS Update has a potential fix for Dervish Cyclicism’s critical hit chance buff (which on Live assumes you have 0 points in the talent). As for Thunderhead’s critical hit bonus, Trion is still working on a fix – currently it only grants 2% critical hit bonus per stack, instead of the intended 3%. [r]
- Shal Korva Notoriety Runes. Notoriety Runes for Shal Korva will be added to the RIFT Store “soon”, so you don’t have to go to the quartermaster. [r]
- More Difficult Rares. Kerilar has mentioned that he is looking at coming up with ways to “confound RareTracker” and player-made rare maps for future rares. [r]
No RIFT livestream this week.
Thanksgiving next Thursday, 26th Nov. From last week’s livestream, Archonix mentioned there would be various sales and the Lovely (pink) Budgie mount might pop up.
