• RIFT 3.5 Preview: Introducing The New Affinity System & PvP Changes. Trion has posted up a new article with a brief summary about the Affinity System and upcoming PvP changes. You can check it out here! You can discuss it here.

• RIFT 3.5 Further Info. CM Ocho has teased that there might be an official announcement tomorrow about the release date of RIFT 3.5. Be sure to keep an eye out! [r]

• Further Affinity Info. Mounts obtained from the Affinity System are for a single character only. [r] Also, PTS has been updated so you get 1 Affinity per minute instead of per hour, up to a cap of 300 for testing purposes. Login bonus is still 5 per reset day. If you notice any issues gaining Affinity, please post here or PM SupermanSocks.

• Frosty Levitation Preview. Nithydux on the RIFT Forums has posted up a preview of the new Frosty Levitation mount that can be obtained from the Frosty Levitation Supply Crate found under RIFT Store -> Chests & Keys. Check it out here!

• Fae Yule IA Rewards. Tacitus has revealed that each Fae Yule Instant Adventure will reward 1 Jingling Bell (with ~1-3 unique snowflakes) and each boss grants 10-20 unique snowflakes (Fae Yule currency). [r]

• Dark Icicles Gain. Tacitus has mentioned that the limited Dark Icicles (Fae Yule currency) will be obtained from a weekly quest that gives 10x Dark Icicles. There’s 3 of these weekly quests, so 30 total. [r]
  • Minions might also have a chance of obtaining Dark Icicles (likely from the minion chain, as well as 10hr Fae Yule promo adventures, like other world events).
  • There’s also a “very slim chance” from completing zone events.
