- RIFT 3.5: Winter’s Wrath Date Announced. Trion announced the date for RIFT 3.5 today – launches 9th Dec 2015. Want to know what’s in the patch and some quick preparation tips? Check out a 3.5 compilation here.
- Affinity Testing. Affinity has been adjusted on the PTS for testing purposes only. Affinity on the PTS is gained at 1 Affinity per minute, instead of the normal per hour. This should allow you to test out some of the Affinity Rewards and test out if there’s any point gain issues. [r]
- PTS: Affinity Dream Orbs. The Dream Orbs you can obtain using Affinity currency that is currently on the PTS has a 33% chance of getting BiS stat for either main stat-only, end-only or main stat + AP/SP values. (Thanks to Boase for the info!).
- PTS: Affinity Poles/Dimension Items. Kiwi and other PTS testers have posted up information about the Atia dimension, rare dimension box and the various fishing lures/poles available for Affinity points on the PTS. Check out previews of the items and the kind of loot the lures drop here.

I managed to save enough points to get the Shiny Wisps of Zoom mount… pretty sweet looking 🙂

I tested the new lure & fishing pole. First charge got me a Meridian Tavern Pavilion. Second charge gave me a bag of soggy crafting marks. The final charge gave me two common (both twisted) and an uncommon artifact.
