RIFT news tidbits for 15th December 2015.

• RIFT 3.5: Winter’s Wrath. Patch Notes and additional information.

General

• RIFT/Trove Cross-Promo. The cross-promo between RIFT and Trove mentioned last week is now active! You can get the new Chloromancer class that was released today in Trove by visting Chloromancer Evort in RIFT. There’s also free, account-wide unlock RIFT loot for leveling up in Trove: Peaceful Hills Dimension Key (lvl 5); Trove’s Cubic Cloak (lvl 10); and Vox (Budgie) Mount (lvl 20). Full details here. • Planned Shard Downtime. RIFT will go down for Patch 3.5 Hotfix #2 at 7:30AM PST 16th Dec (NA) and 2AM GMT 17th Dec (EU). Estimated downtime is 1hr 15min!

• Reminder: Fae Yule. Just a friendly reminder that weekly reset is at 4am server time (NA: PST; EU: GMT) on Wednesday. Some things to note:
  • Turn in your weeklies, especially ones that give Faelight Sparkles.
  • Use up your 3x Random Charges that you get each week as a Patron before reset.
  • Be sure to complete Phase 1’s story quest obtained from Greatfather Frost in the Fae Yule quest hubs so you don’t miss out on the 10x Dark Icicles. [Guide].

• About Minion Reset. Snedhepl has clarified that currently your minion adventure deck will reset every 24hrs, but not at 4am. Snedhepl would like it to reset consistently at 4am server time, but has been busy with other projects. He also clarified that chain and event adventures are not usually affected by the reset. [r]

• Further Info on Keavy Bug. Just a heads up that if you ended up getting the Keavy minion card instead of Ivory when doing the 2014 Fae Yule minion chain, you’ll need to speak to customer support to get the correct card (Ivory). Also, this bug doesn’t affect the chain itself, so you can continue progressing on it. [r] [Guide].

• Livestream Room. CM Scapes as posted up another view of the new Livestream Room at Trion HQ. Lots of soundproofing foam and a pillow with the old, old, old Trion logo. Check it out here! [I see duct tape!]

She gives a brief overview of the Fae Yule World Event, shows off the Icewatch Outpost dimension key, various Fae Yule dimension items as well as showcases a whole bunch of amazing Fae Yule/Holiday-themed dimensions created by various dimensioneers!
