RIFT news tidbits for 14th January 2016.

General

• Bug: Planetouched Wilds Exp Low. Since the hotfix, Planetouched Wilds mob experience seems to be at old world levels. Trion is looking into this. [r]

• Bug: MoM – Arak Walls Only 2x. The wall phases for the 2nd boss of The Mind of Madness raid “Lord Arak” are only occuring twice every Divide & Conquer instead of 3x after the first 2x since the latest hotfix. Unknown if this is intended or not. [r]

• About Soul Stream + Variants Bug. CM Ocho has suggested a temporary work-around to the Soul Stream/Ethereal Blast/etc mastery abilities is to go into Settings -> Interface -> Action Bars and change Ability Queue to None. [r]  [Do note that this can cause problems with your rotation, especially if you aren’t used to zero ability queue or you have high latency – it also doesn’t seem to work for everyone.]
  • Trion hopes to get a permanent fix in tomorrow, but no concrete ETA. [r]

• No Option for New Equipment Feature. Tacitus has responded to players asking for the new equipment slot feature added in RIFT 3.5 Hotfix #4 to be an option by stating that it is intended for newer players who are unaware of the /saveequip# and /loadequip# commands and thus will “not be hidden behind an option”. [r]
  • For those who missed it, the new feature means that when you hover over an equipment slot, all equipment in your inventory for that slot will appear for you to switch into. An image likely better explains this:

• Investigating 1/0 Dimension Bug. From player reports, it seems that dimensioneers are no longer seeing the 1/0 dimension item bug for their dimensions. However, if you are still experiencing this bug, please send details to CM Ocho’s thread here.

• The Mind of Madness Progression. Several guilds have downed bosses in The Mind of Madness, placing themselves in the Top Standings for the raid. Congratulations to the following guilds for making the Top World/Region Standings!
  • Lady Justice. Trinity (Laethys) for NA 1st, World 5th and Coriolis (Hailol) for NA 2nd, World 6th!
    • Trinity vs Lady Justice – Mage Heal by Deewbie.
  • The Enigma. Nephilim (Greybriar) for NA 3rd, World 8th.
  • Dark Genesis. Trinity (Laethys) for NA 1st, World 2nd!
