• Budgie Madness Promo Week. Currently active, this iteration of Budgie Madness introduces the Spooky the Nightmare Budgie mount. Grab some Bird Seed from Budgie Races! Ends 3:30PM Server Time on 28th Jan 2016 (NA)(EU).

General

• Notice: Last Chance to Get Earring Slot Unlocks/Planewalker: Water with Voidstones. Trion has announced that they will be removing the ability to get earring slot unlocks and Planewalker: Water using Void Stones from the RIFT Store by January 27th 2016. Instead, Wednesday’s update will have them available with Credits. [Article] [Thread].
  • Note: Unsure at this stage whether Bag of Innumerable Pockets and Crafter’s Energy Infusion are also becoming Credits-only or not. Wording in the article is unclear.

• Livestream Summary: Tech Talk. Trion held their latest Friday RIFT Livestream on 22nd January 2016, with information relating to engineering and tech. The stream goes over roles, bug & code testing processes, info on some of the big engineering projects over the past year as well as some 2016 projects in the works. Check out a summary here!

• RIFT PvP Guide Videos #2. Three more PvP Guide videos have been uploaded to RIFT, courtesy of Grim. Check them out below:

• No IA Plans for PTW; MoM IA in Works. Tacitus has mentioned that there are currently no plans to add Instant Adventures to the Planetouched Wilds zone at this time. He is also actively working on the Mind of Madness Intrepid IA with the raid team and one of their newer designers. [r] [r]

• Dimension Permissions Issue. It seems that a problem has occurred that is preventing some players from properly dropping or picking up items in friend/guild dimensions, even with the correct permissions. Morticus is taking a look at this issue. [r]

• Trove Music Box Issue. Morticus has passed concerns that the Trove Music Box dimension item only plays once, instead of on a continuous loop to their audio engineers for review. [r]

• Onslaught-related Quest Issues in PTW Fix. A fix will be ready for this Wednesday’s hotfix to resolve issues revolving around onslaughts in PTW. [r]

• Midgard nach Valhalla [Dimension]. Feendish over at The Dimension Touring Company has taken a tour of an amazingly built dimension by Xaphiria@Brutwacht called “Midgard nach Valhalla”. Several buildings line the dimension, including a very well-built ship. Check it out here!

• Thinking Small [Dimension][Tips]. Feendish also takes a look at how to manage to create a dimension when you are limited to a small item count, such as in the Sanguine Shores dimension. Check out her useful tips here!

• Game of Thrones Dimension Showcase [Dimension][Video]. Nouvae over at The Dimension Gallery has posted up a lovely video showcasing a series of dimensions that are dedicated to the Game of Thrones series. Check it out here!
