• RIFT 3.5: Winter’s Wrath. Patch Notes and additional information.
• Budgie Madness Promo Week. Currently active, this iteration of Budgie Madness introduces the Spooky the Nightmare Budgie mount. Grab some Bird Seed from Budgie Races! Ends 3:30PM Server Time on 28th Jan 2016 (NA)(EU).

General

• Upcoming Region Downtime. RIFT will be going down for RIFT 3.5 Hotfix #7 tomorrow at the following times:
  • North America: 6AM PST on 1/27/16. Est. downtime of 3hrs; includes server maintenance.
  • Europe: 2 AM GMT on 1/28/16. Est. downtime is 1hr.

• Reminder: Last Chance to Get Earring Slot Unlocks/Planewalker: Water with Voidstones. Trion announced yesterday that they will be removing the ability to get earring slot unlocks and Planewalker: Water using Void Stones from the RIFT Store by January 27th 2016. Instead, Wednesday’s update will have them available with Credits. [Article] [Thread].

• Further Info: Earring Slot Unlocks/Planewalker: Water. Just a heads up that CM Ocho has mentioned that with next week’s hotfix, you will be able to gift the credits-only Earring Slot Unlocks and Planewalker: Water attunement. [r]
  • Earring Slot Unlocks will cost 2,250 Credits.
  • Planewalker: Water attunement will cost 1,500 Credits.
  • The Typhoon Edition of the game will be removed from the RIFT Store. [r]
  • CM Ocho has also explained that the changes are a business decision to better support RIFT moving forward. You can read his post here.

• Brief API/Event Tracker Issues. Today there was briefly some issues with API functionality and Event Trackers. This has been fixed. [r]

• Ignore Bug Fix. There’s a bug which makes players circumvent the ignore feature when switching shards. A fix has been submitted for 3.6. [r]
