• RIFT 3.5: Winter’s Wrath. Patch Notes and additional information.

General

• RIFT 3.5 Hotfix #9. Trion updated RIFT with 3.5 Hotfix #9 today: Patron buffs/F2P changes including charge stacking becoming patron-only; Mayhem in Mathosia Feb 12-14th; Rare minion adventures; Chat merges; More Wardrobe/Bank Vault slots; new achievements; new recipes; imperishable prigmatic motes; and more! Full patch notes here.
  
  • Note: Despite the change to make specific queuing of dungeons/warfronts as Patron-only, you can still manually enter a dungeon via its entrance portal in the open world. [r]
  • Player DarkDaemon has a forum post with images and further information about the new Dreamweaving Crates, and the Rare minion adventures that you can read up here.

• RIFT 3.5 Hotfix #10. Due to a number of bugs introduced with Hotfix #9, Trion will be updating RIFT with RIFT 3.5 Hotfix #10 tomorrow (11th Feb) with est. downtime of approx. 1hr 15min at the following times:
  • NA: 2/11/16 7:30 AM PST
  • EU: 2/11/16 2 AM GMT
  • A lot of the bugs you’ve been experiencing since the latest hotfix should be fixed with hotfix #10.

• Purchasable Artifacts, Artifact Wings & More! Trion posted up an artifact-filled article with some upcoming additions including being able to fill artifact slots for Credits, new Twisted artifacts in Planetouched Wilds and new Artifact Wings awarded at 1,400-set achievement. Coming 17th Feb 2016. More info from article/dev posts here.
  • Note: Dead Simon has discovered that 14 sets are meant for RIFT 3.6, so you won’t be able to complete 1,400 artifact sets with the 17th Feb hotfix. [r]
  • There are currently 3 super-rare Bounty artifact sets that are an extremely rare chance drop from Minion artifact missions. Dead Simon has mentioned that they’ll be included as world drops on Feb 17th. [r]

• Quest Reward UI Change. In the future, quest rewards will include an additional section to show existing bonuses (like +currency) that Patrons receive. Gingers showed off a mockup (ignore numbers) here.

• Dimension Scratchies. Kiwi has discovered that there are new “Decoration Scratcher” items available for Credits for Dimensioneers currently on the PTS. These will be hitting Live next week, and they contain a random color-specific pillow, lace, curtain and/or carpet item. [r]
