Trion updated RIFT to RIFT 3.5 Hotfix #5 on Friday to revert changes made to Masteries in order to fix Soul Stream and related abilities; RIFT +50% bonus exp/favor/prestige/pa exp/guild exp until Jan 18th 2016; PTW exp issues have a fix ready for PTS – earliest update will be Monday (for PTS); CM Ocho confirms Archonix is back in the office after holiday break and a Producer/State-of-the-Game letter will ‘probably’ be ready some time this month; “My Number!” warfront achieve fixed; 1/0 Dimension bug on-going issues; and CC gives quick tidbit about Faction Titles origin.

Various Bugs: PTW mobs low exp; Arak walls now 2x-only per set; Soul Stream + Variants bug ‘hopefully’ fixed tomorrow; No option for new equipment feature; 1/0 dimension bug hopefully fixed; and Top Standings updated for The Mind of Madness: Congratulations to Trinity on their World 2nd Dark Genesis kill! RIFT has been updated with RIFT 3.5 Hotfix #4 with various bug fixes and raid rift nerfs; Arclight Infiltration Promo Week extended until 3:30pm server time on Monday 18th Jan, Scout Captain Feldain will also appear in Trollblight Caverns in Scarwood Reach, and the Lifter Larceny achievement only requires killing Scout Captain Feldain now; Minion: Haligan the Pyretouched had its attributes reduced; Soul Stream and variants are broken with strange cooldown issues; and you are unable to view upgrade paths on the RIFT Store since the latest hotfix. Kiwi’s “Nico New Yeah” contest has ended and winners announced – be sure to enter the remaining 3 contests for the month!; 2nd Wardrobe Wednesday for January held today – enter Jan’s contest!; and Kitasia over at RiftDimensionAddicts uploads a few new dimension-related videos!

Planned Region Downtime for RIFT 3.5 Hotfix #4; Arclight Infiltration Promo Week has been extended until Monday, with a fix for Scout Captain Feldain’s spawn coming in this week’s hotfix; Morticus has stated that Trion would like to make translucent/water-like building blocks shown off over the holidays available for all traditional building block shapes; Shal Korva/Mystery bag will have projectors and time-of-day dimension items removed from their loot table; and Lord Arak bugs involving diagonally-moving crystals and early phases will be fixed in this week’s hotfix.

Trion celebrates their 10th Anniversary; first RIFT livestream of the year talks puzzles, quests & lore with vague ‘possible’ hints at future content; Carnage: Scout Captain Feldain is available for this Arclight Infiltration Promo Week; and MoM: Dark Genesis’ Purging Flames disabled. Fae Yule has ended, but RIFT Store -> World Event and Faelight Sparkle Returns quest will last until next week’s hotfix; Arclight Infiltration Promo Week begins with new Nightmare Lifter mount; Mind of Madness: Dark Genesis and Arisen Arak have been re-enabled, but Lord Arak (2nd boss) is displaying a new bug; Gingers confirms some further UI improvements. On community: Grim teams up with Seatin in some warfronts; and Dimension Diva tours “Room 303” by Yazinri@Faeblight.

Planned Region Downtime for RIFT 3.5 Hotfix #3 with EU getting an extended ~3hr downtime; Fae Yule ends 7th Jan 3:30PM server time; Faelight Sparkle Returns quest ending soon (no concrete time confirm but could be after Wednesday hotfix or when Fae Yule ends); Dead Simon mentions future puzzles won’t have a plat wall like Callweddi Puzzle; CM Ocho responds to moderation and content release timing as well as on warfront queues; Red Hawk announces Shaman will need some further tweaks before hitting Live; and various issues being addressed including a Reinforced Warmonger’s Axe heal proc, PA Exp issues in PTW, dimension item distortion issues, and Affinity to be added to Addon API. Happy New Year to the Ascended! It’s 2016 and a brand new year of content awaits us! There’s a few contests on-going to celebrate the upcoming 5th Anniversary of RIFT, the next hotfix is 6th Jan and it’s time to finish up on your Fae Yule-related activities! Unfortunately, one of the top raiding guilds in RIFT has closed shop: Apotheosys – and they have an eye-opener of a video & post about their interactions with Trion.
