With RIFT Patch 2.8: Madness Wakes coming to our shores on 6th August 2014, it is time to take a look back at the last 3 months since Binding of Blood (RIFT 2.7) came out. You might even come across content you’ve missed through the miasma of 16 hotfixes we’ve seen!

RIFT 2.7 Hotfix #4 provided info about a new ‘Most Wanted’ feature for Bounty Artifacts. Now we know what it’s all about – just like Unstable Artifact Thieves, new mobs appear scattered across all zones with the title underneath their names. Killing and looting them gets you a random bounty artifact of that species’ type.

Outdex@Gelidra, the unknonw and TheFLyingAlex on the Rift Forums have posted screenshots of 7 new Transcendent (Red) Tier 3 Raid trinkets and some new types of upgrade components that go with them that they discovered after downing Bindings of Blood: Akylios. Trion had their 9th May 2014 Friday Livestream Extravaganza where they showed off the Bindings of Blood: Laethys encounter (mechanics and some loot) coming to Live shards next week! Raiders mainly from Trinity@Grebriar and Addiction@Greybriar assisted in showing off the new boss.
