Notice: Just a heads up that the Limited Edition: Merry Mink Troves that were dropping off the Fae Yule minion chain adventures earlier in the week may have been removed.
I thought I’d post this up now as a precaution before we get re-confirmation from Trion, which might take a while since it is the weekend.

There’s two pieces of evidence pointing to the possible removal of the Merry Mink Troves from the Fae Yule minion chains.
Player Info
RIFT player Ed notified me that out of the 3 times he ran the 2015 minion chain, the first two gave the average of ~6 troves for a full run. However, the 3rd most recent run he made gave 0.
Edit: Also have other players now notifying me that they have not received any Troves since the weekend.
RIFT Livestream
After re-watching this Friday’s RIFT Livestream, it seems CM Ocho did mention something about the Merry Mink Trove.

CM Ocho: (Reading player question from Livestream Chat) “Does last year’s minion questline give out this year’s Troves or last year’s?”
Captain Cursor: I don’t think any of them are supposed to be giving out Troves.
CM Ocho: So I know there was an issue with some of the quests giving out a little too many Troves this morning, and that should have been taken care of now.
Shard Downtime
This might relate to the shard downtime we got at 12PM PST on Friday 11th Dec (2AM GMT on 12th Dec for EU) prior to the livestream. According to CM Ocho’s post, the downtime was supposed to be for RIFT 3.5 Hotfix #2, although CM Morgana never posted the hotfix notes.
The change to the drop rate (or complete removal) of the Merry Mink Trove from the Fae Yule Minion Chains might be in those hotfix notes.
Further Clarification Needed
Until the Trion staff get back into the office next Monday, or when they post up RIFT 3.5 Hotfix #2’s patch notes, it might be prudent to hold off on starting any of the Fae Yule minion chain adventures if you are more interested in the Troves than the minion cards you get.

yes i did the whole minion chain after guild members said they got mink troves i got 0 and this was after the hotfix only gives jingle bells no merry mink troves
I’ve gotten very little from the 2 ten hour adventures I’ve done so far. Literally a couple of snowflakes, a jingling bell, and a dimension piece each time. Not worth 250 aventurine at all.
seems all adventure types (as 1min, as 10hrs) have an identical loot table. I did 3 10hrs yesterday and got the same loot as 1min.
also it’s looks like a fae yule adventures have a some cap. just got few (4-5) very often at beginning, then can’t get no one through a long time, nevermind how much I’d send. time type seems have no meanings for this cap too.
autumn harvest a way better. can’t see nothing useful from fae yule. few wardrobe items and that’s all. necklace and essences are useless (pvp a way better), mounts are terrible… just disappointed.
