Latest hotfix adds the ability to fill up uncollected artifact slots with Credits; Patron subscriptions now purchasable from RIFT Store; Dimension Decoration Scratchers are now available; Twisted Artifacts are now up in the Planetouched Wilds; Arisen Arak tweaks, and some bug fixes.

Latest RIFT Livestream showed off the multicore support addon as well as in-game performance differences between it and normal mode. Red Hawk also teased some upcoming soul changes (some potentially hitting PTS as soon as next Monday); Call to Arms event happening again next weekend with some adjustments; Gingers mentioned Patron UI changes coming to PTS soon; and next RIFT Livestream will be next week with info on 3.6 content.

RIFT has launched new Call to Arms weekend event. Free 3-day patron when you log in between 12th-14th Feb 2016. Head to Silverwood/Freemarch for increased zone event spawns and some special loot and speak to a Planar Commander for dailies/weekly quests (Patron-only).

Additional benefits to Patron, and some features removed for F2P players; Mayhem in Mathosia running Feb 12-14th in Silverwood/Freemarch with exclusive daily/weeklies for Patron; Rare adventures added to Minions; +20 wardrobe slots, +4 Bank vaults; Chat channel merges; New Dream Reaver supply cache with upgradable essences; Dimension grab bags; Craft 1p to 1p 50g; some Craft recipe cost reductions; IA HK bosses have chance to drop unstable caches with guaranteed loot; Imperishable motes to Imperishable Prismatic Motes; and Large changes to Arisen Arak.

With the game’s 5th Anniversary fast approaching, RIFT’s Game Director Christopher “Archonix” Junior has written up a lengthy Producer’s Letter going over the year that’s been and the year ahead. There’s new Carnival quests and rewards, news about additional souls for all callings, new daily login reward system and more! Big tech news as well, including true multicore support and conversion of the game into a 64-bit client!

Earring Slots, Planewalker: Water, Bag of Innumerable Pockets and Crafter’s Energy Infusion are now Credits-only; REX is no longer available for Referral Coins; Level 65 lock box gear has new tier of upgrades, and Intrepid IA cache gear has new upgrade path to Tier 1; Various Mage purge-related bug fixes; You can now use weapon vfx items on off-hand weapon slot, as long as the weapon type is listed as being usable in the vfx items’ tooltip; and various other bug fixes.
