RIFT news tidbits for 21st October 2015.

• RIFT 3.4: Into the Wilds Patch Notes.
• Extra Life 2015. 24hr charity gaming weekend, 7th-8th Nov. Trion participating 5th year in a row with fundraising rewards, giveaways, contests, titles and in-game activities.

General

• RIFT 3.4 Hotfix #4. RIFT has been updated to the latest hotfix: Autumn Harvest arriving; Planetouched Wilds Act II begins; Credit Bonus; UI fix; Primalist fix and a few other tidbits. Full patch notes and additional info here.

• Autumn Harvest World Event. Autumn Harvest 2015 begins 3:30PM ST on 22nd Oct 2015 and will last until 3:30PM ST on 11th Nov 2015. RIFT Store and achievements are already up since the hotfix this week, but quests, rifts, warfront and special Gloamwood Instant Adventures will only come up once the event officially begins.
  • New Spinderella mount available as a rare chance drop from Limited Edition: Spinderella Troves.
  • New masks, costume bundles, weapon wardrobes, dimension items and Level 65 earrings are available under RIFT Store (default key “]“) -> World Event tab.
  • 6 new minions are obtainable from the RIFT Store -> World Event tab by purchasing the Credits-only “Minion Card: Taskmaster Atrophinius”.
  • You can check out previous years’ Autumn Harvest guide for all you need to know about the main quests and the special artifact-filled instance.

Spinderella Mount.

• Credits Bonus Promo. Trion has started up a new Credits Promo which lasts until Tuesday, Oct 27th 2015. Purchase your first $50 Credit Pack during the promo period and you’ll get 5x Limited Edition: Spinderella Troves.

• Minion Card Database Updated. The Minion Card Database has been updated with the six new minion cards that have appeared with Autumn Harvest 2015. (Big thanks to Rigaemortis@Laethys for the info!).
  • Taskmaster Atrophinius. Obtained from RIFT Store -> World Event. (Life, Hunting, Harvesting). Rest obtained via minion adventures once you have Taskmaster Atrophinius. All cards 12 starting stamina (likely 30 max).
  • Qu’ella the Wretched (Air, Life).
  • Haligan the Pyretouched (Fire, Dimension).
  • The Nightstalker (Death, Harvesting).
  • The Hag of Gloamwood (Earth, Water, Dimension).
  • Athelan the Fallen (Life, Death, Hunting, Harvesting).
  • To obtain the cards, you’ll need to have collected Taskmaster Atrophinius. Then the special chain adventures will appear a few times in the 5min/15min slot before an 8hr will appear that rewards the next card in the chain. Cupcakey/Riane has the full guide to the chain here.

• Notice: Warrior’s Dire Corruption Disabled. Warrior Reaver’s “Dire Corruption” ability has been disabled due to a bug/potential exploit as the ability is dealing damage endlessly to companion pets, dummies and other players. No info on when it will be fixed/re-enabled. [r]

• Featured Queue Instant Adventure Temporarily Disabled. The Featured Queue for Instant Adventures (default key “.“) has been temporarily disabled until Autumn Harvest officially begins, to avoid confusion over the hotfix notes stating that it has special halloween-themed adventures, when that only begins on Thursday 22nd Oct at 3:30PM ST. [r]

• Current Known Issues with Localization. Dev Explikor has updated the list of all known localization issues with Patch 3.4 Hotfix #4. Got any not on the list, send it his way!

Workaround: If your buff bar/ability bars suddenly disappear, hit Esc -> Edit Layout then Save and it should reappear.
