Promo Week

For the next week until Thursday 22nd January 2015 at 3:30PM Server Time, the new Arclight Ascendancy Promo Week is Live. Complete racing and collection dailies, collect event currency and get your Arclight Rider Mount!

General

• PTS Update + Datamining 14th Jan 2015. Another update, this time with an image of Mecha Crucia, ‘Johan’ raid boss, Crucia Cape and more. There’s also class changes for Rogues, Warriors and Mages. Check out full information here.

• New Outfitter Bag + Artificer Earrings Recipes not 3.1. Morticus has confirmed that the new Outfitter bag (slot size unknown) and Artificer Earring recipes will not make it for 3.1. [r]

• Upcoming 3.1 Dimension Items. Morticus showed screenshots of a ‘Bank Vault’ and Level 67 Raid + Expert Boss Practice Dummy dimension items coming with Patch 3.1. [r] Note that the tooltip will be changed for the ‘Bank Vault’ so it is not confused for an account-wide bank vault – it acts like a Banker NPC. Prices are likely placeholder.

Upcoming 3.1 Dimension Items

• Planar Fortress Events Re-enabled. Kerilar has re-enabled the Planar Fortress-style zone events in the Plane of Water after making changes to tone down the events to reduce lag. [r] A few things to note:
  • In order to get normal rewards, you’ll need to kill some invasions during the shield phase. Tagging the boss won’t get you the normal rewards unlike other zone events. [r]
  • No +300 Hit Weapons. Archonix has confirmed that +300 Hit Weapons do not drop from the Planar Fortress Events. In fact, all other Plane of Water Zone Events other than the Planar Fortress Events have a chance of dropping the weapons. [r]
  • After some initial feedback, Kerilar has toned down the frequency that Planar Fortress Events spawn. [r]
