Summerfest Rift Store Items

Summerfest Feature Image

Summerfest will begin on Thursday, 3rd July 2014 at 3:30PM Server Time (NA) (EU). In the mean-time, here’s the major Summerfest Rift Store Items for this year!

There’s quite a few Summerfest-related items that you can obtain during Summerfest under Rift Store (default key “]“) -> World Event.

Table of Contents:

  • Ravensong, the Ash Walker Mount
  • Summerfest Party Basket
  • Summerfest Companion Pets
  • Summerfest Rings
  • Summerfest Lesser Essences
  • Summerfest Dimension Items
  • RIFT Summer Outfits
  • Summerfest Interactive Items

Ravensong, the Ash Walker Mount

RIFT Ravensong Mount

Ravensong, the Ash Walker (“Ravensong”) is the new Summerfest mount which costs 150 platinum. However, you need to unlock it first by completing the “Summer Royalty” achievement found under Achievements (default key “h“) -> World Events -> Summerfest.

Summerfest Party Basket

Summerfest Party Basket

The Summerfest Party Basket costs 750 Summerfest Merit Badges or 525 Credits (472 for Patrons) each. It contains a chance at a wide variety of items:

Contains pets like The King and Party Fowl, New Summerfest Artifacts, a chance for Dark Ice Essences, Dark Ice Necklaces, and very rarely the new raptor mount; Ravensong, the Ash Walker.

They also reward Summerfest Merit Badges (Summerfest currency) as well as a rare chance at Summerfest Friendship Bracelets (Limited Summerfest currency).

Here’s some of the items you can obtain from it:

Summerfest Party Punch

The Summerfest Party Punch Artifacts are available as a chance drop from the Summerfest Party Basket.

Artifacts for the set are as follows:

  • Sam’s Breakfast Drink
  • Summer Berries
  • Delicious Nectar
  • Juicy Melon
  • Honey and Juice
  • Red Glowing Berries
  • A Carnivorous Plant
  • Creepy Eyed Plant
  • Bottled Elemental Essence

Completing the Artifact Set grants the achievement “The Summer Sleuth” the gives you 5 achievement points + Title: “the Summer Sleuth”. It also rewards you with the companion pet “Sam the Tan and Punch Drunk Ram”.

Sam the Tan and Punch Drunk Ram

Summerfest Companion Pets (Summerfest Party Basket)

The Summerfest Party Basket also contains a large amount of Summerfest Companion Pets:

  • Burnoulli
  • Backmane
  • Purple Cobra
  • Quiffles
  • Party Fowl
  • Egon
  • Goner
  • The King
  • Xalmathalmanar the IIIIVst
  • Snaps
  • Kyth
  • Micecream
  • Baderpillar
  • Blue
  • Sam the Sunburned Ram

Summerfest Companion Pets Party Basket

Collecting them all grants the achievement “The Host With The Most” and rewards you with the “Party Punch Elemental” Bind on Use Companion Pet:

Party Punch Elemental Companion Pet

These companion pets are Bind on Use so you can obtain them from other players/Auction House as well. If you’re after the “The Host With The Most” achievement but don’t want to spend Credits, I recommend waiting a few days/weeks so that supply (thanks to players getting multiples of the same pet from the Summerfest Party Baskets) will naturally dampen the prices.

Dark Ice Essences + Dark Ice Necklaces

Dark Ice Essences and Dark Ice Necklaces are a rare drop from the Summerfest Party Basket. These were originally available via the Dark Ice Bells (lockboxes) in Fae Yule 2013.

The stats are very good for Level 60 characters. You can check out all the Dark Ice Essences and Necklaces on Magelo.

Summerfest Companions Pets

There’s a multitude of Summerfest-related Companion Pets that you can obtain during Summerfest. We’ve listed the ones obtained from the Summerfest Party Basket above, but there’s others that you can directly obtain from the Rift Store -> World Events section below:

Undead Dancers

Summerfest Jenniphear Deathika

There’s two undead, dancing companion pets you can obtain: Jenniphear, the Dancing Zombie and Deathika, the Skeletal Dancer. These two are companion pets that will dance whilst idle (not running after you).

They cost 500 Summerfest Merit Badges and 5 Summerfest Friendship Bracelets each, or 1,100 Credits (990 for Patrons) each.

Summoning these two pets will also give you the “Dead Dance Revolution” achievement and reward you with 5 Achievement Points and Title: “the Sun Praiser”.

Great list, thanks. I really wish these were NOT available until the event started, though. It’s confusing and just Wrong.

I’ve received the “N3wt0n” pet in a Summer Party Basket, and something like “you have received a splendid/wonderful (merveilleux, in french) item !” with it in the channel.

Do you know anything about this pet, or this kind of message in the channels ? N3wt0n isn’t required for the mount.

Maybe there’s grammar mistakes, english isn’t my native language. 🙂

It must be considered a rare companion pet from the Summer Party Basket.

I also received a N3wt0n pet just now. The message in English is “[my character’s name] has just acquired a marvelous item! [N3wt0n]”

    • July 6, 2014 at 1:21 am #

Nice, grats! 😀 Yea, the announcement occurs usually for Radiant Infinity Cells and Premium Mounts you gain. Looks like they added it in for this N3wt0n pet as well.

Until which day we can buy something from the summerfest?

    • July 6, 2014 at 3:07 am #

It should last till at least 3:30PM Server Time on 24th July 2014. It might last longer than that (up till the next hotfix which is 30th July 2014; or it could end sooner after the hotfix on 23rd July 2014).

i would just like to mention that summer royality awards the mount, and also unlocks it from the rift store, but when you buy the mount from the store, it becomes soul bound and useless. it has to be a bug or something.

    • July 7, 2014 at 2:24 am #

That does sound weird. Usually trophies (additional purchases of achievement rewards on the Rift Store) are Bind on Account – I mean…that’s the point. Should put a ticket in or bug report and see what’s up with that.
