Surprised? Yes, this will be the first datamining on RiftGrate for the Live client. Not sure why I didn’t do this sooner, but since the PTS has not been updated in a while and there’s some new stuff on Live, I thought I would datamine the Live client’s recent hotfix updates. (Was actually trying to find the hover bike skins to no avail).
Unfortunately since the Glyph Log files only go up to a max of 10, I’ve only got information on new files introduced with the latest RIFT 3.0 Hotfix #7 on 20th November 2014. I’ll check the Live client more often going forward.
Below you can find interesting datamined files yet to appear on Live, datamined from the Live client.
Summary:
- Digital Edition Feature Image
- Minion Stamina Pots
- Nightmare Foothold
- Monty and Rodney Icons
As always, everything below is subject to change and even though these were datamined from the Live client, they might end up not appearing (or appearing months later).
Digital Edition Feature Image

Possible Nightmare Tide Digital Edition Feature Image
An interesting feature image has appeared that looks to be something that will pop up on the RIFT Store front page. The image icon to the left is the same one used in the Typhoon Edition ($25) Nightmare Tide Digital Edition that you can check out here.
Could this possibly suggest that Trion might be adding the Typhoon Edition to the RIFT Store for Credits? Or will this feature image just have a link to the RIFT website to purchase the pack with cash?
And this icon? Also datamined in the latest hotfix patch. Perhaps it reinforces the idea of the Typhoon Edition being available for Credits in-game. (Note: This isn’t the Planewalker: Water attunement unlock icon since that looks different).
I’m sure it would be quite the welcome addition if it were included in the RIFT Store for Credits since there are a lot of players who would prefer to unlock their earring slots and planewalker: water attunement with Credits.
Think REX prices will increase if this goes Live? Something to consider.
Minion Stamina Pots

Minion Stamina Potions
Mini-Feature Images and icons for the Minion Stamina Potions were included in the latest hotfix patch files. Given the ‘flamebolt’ icon, these are clearly used to refresh your Minion’s stamina.
The two icons on the right seems to indicate there will both be a bundle and single stamina pots offered in the RIFT Store – probably under the ‘Boosts’ category.
Unknown whether these will be Credits-only or perhaps have Aventurine as an alternate cost.
Nightmare Foothold

Nightmare Foothold Models
A new ‘Nightmare Foothold’ model. These aren’t the Nightmare Rift (‘NMR’) powerups and certain bosses already have their normal planar footholds that pop up in NMR IVs and Vs.
Are these for special ‘Nightmare’-specific bosses in Nightmare Rifts? Or perhaps these are for an upcoming Nightmare-themed zone event?

Nightmare Foothold Skins
The two skins above can probably give you a decent idea of what the foothold will look like once you piece them all together with its model. It uses the usual green color scheme for the Tribulation/Nightmare mobs and doodads.
Monty and Rodney

Monty and Rodney Icons
The latest hotfix on Live contains four new icons. From Left to Right they are the Greater Rodney, Lesser Rodney, Greater Monty and Lesser Monty combat pets.
- Rodney is a griffon pet for the Rogue Ranger Soul.
- Monty is the roc pet for the Warrior Beastmaster Soul.
These two combat pets were revealed back in July by Vladd and datamining has since shown their rigs and skins. Looks like we are inching ever closer to getting these combat pets on live, and this also means that Vladd must be working on the Ranger and Beastmaster soul changes he teased at back in July.
The images were from back in July so there might have been tweaks or adjustments to the combat pets since then.
As Vladd mentioned before, after he works on Ranger and Beastmaster and incorporates these new combat pets into those souls, he will then work on Bard, Saboteur, Marksman and perhaps Tactician.
Some interesting additions to the Live client that aren’t up yet for players to view. Hopefully we get a PTS update soon so I can datamine that for the hover bike skins.

I dont get why they made the pet have wings, rather odd and look clumsy for battle pets in raids etc look like they was planning on using them for mounts then changed their minds.
