RIFT news tidbits for 24-25th March 2015.

General

• RIFT 3.1 Hotfix #9. Trion is optimizing their game a bit more, and some major changes to lockboxes going forward, starting with new Levitate Supply Crates. More premium items dropped, less trash, 100% chance to get gear and a lot of premium items dropped from the lockboxes are now tradable. More info here!

• Dimension Additions.
  • Morticus will look into seeing if they can add a River of Souls Sky Projector.
  • Steppes of Infinity Sky Projector will be added to the game. Morticus is still thinking of a price and wants your input here.

• Some new building blocks will be coming in. Morticus has also asked for approval for disc-based building blocks. [r]
• Morticus has stated that Trion would like to create a collections system for dimension building blocks (similar to changes coming to the wardrobe system in 3.2), but it isn’t currently not a priority. [r]

• New Rod [Fishing]. Fishing is getting a new, colorful Goboro Reef fishing rod. This might be the ‘special’ thing Morticus mentioned before that 450 Fishing would get. Not sure what’s so special about it yet. [r]

• Greater Essences Issue. The latest hotfix was supposed to fix a few things about several Greater Essences including buffs not applying or wrong stats. There may still be issues. Try un-equipping and re-equipping your Planar Focus and see if it fixes the issue. If not, please post info about any issues you might be having with your Greater Essences to Red Hawk’s thread here.

• Stealth nerf to Crucia. Apparently Crucia (Mechanical Tyrant, Tyrant’s Forge) has been stealth nerfed, with her hp dropping from 418mil to 380mil overnight. [r]

• Dream Orb Stat Sheet Updated. The Dream Orb Stat Sheet has been updated with full dream orb stats for PvP-dropped Capes and Tier 1 Epic (Crucia) Capes. Thanks to RePyh for the info! You can check out the updated list here.

• ‘Wanted’ Mobs Spawning Normal. Kerilar has confirmed that the <Most Wanted> mobs (that drop Bounty artifacts) are spawning correctly. [r]

• Loyalty Still Tracked. Tacitus has confirmed that if you’re in Black-Tier Loyalty, any additional loyalty you gain will still be tracked. [r]
