RIFT news tidbits for 30th June 2015.

• Summerfest World Event. The Summerfest World Event is on-going. There’s scavenger hunts, dailies, fishing and more! Check out the sidebar for links to various Summerfest-related guides! Ends 2nd July 3:30PM Server Time.

• Temporal Flux Promo Week. Temporal Flux Promo Week is on-going. Get your Black Empyreal Walker Mount. Ends 2nd July 3:30PM Server Time.

General

• Planned Region Downtime. Shards will go down tomorrow for RIFT 3.2 Hotfix #15. ~1hr downtime.
  • America: 7/1/15, at 7:30 AM PDT
  • Europe: 7/2/15 at 1:00 AM GMT

• More Info on Planar Crafting. Morticus has mentioned that Planar Crafting is not intended to cover the full amount of available gear. As such, it doesn’t look like there will be planar crafted shields. [r]

• Orphiel Farwind Dimension Item. Krug provided some additional teasers to the Nightmare Saga, stating that you will be able to obtain an Orphiel Farwind dimension item that responds to emotes with voiceovers from the Nightmare Saga. Orphiel will have no soulbinding. Might also be sheep. [r] [r]
  • Also, CaptainCursor mentioned that “3.3 will be a giant story”. So all you players out there who want to see the story progress will get something to chew on! [r]

• PvP Upgrade – Frenetic. With the latest PTS Update, there’s also an additional upgrade path for Dreambreaker gear. (Thanks to The Larry for the info!) Dreambreaker gear (including Empowered) now upgrades to Frenetic. No word from Trion on ETA.

• Minion Database Updated. The Minion Card Database has been updated today as well with the following:
  • Knifebeak drops from rare mob Koglok in Droughtlands. (Thanks to Kenjitsuka for the info!)
  • Nyor’tothgylu has max stats 18 Earth 17 Water 7 Dimension 30 Stamina. (Thanks to Saido for the info!)

• About Conquest Tests. Conquest premades will be restricted to 5 players for queuing up, arriving with this week’s hotfix. So what about restricting players so they can’t join after CQ timer? Trion has decided to split the tests so the CQ timer restriction will be tested at a later date. [r]

• Devilian Online. As some of you probably know, Trion is the Western publisher for Devilian Online. The official website is now up and you can sign up for a chance to access the beta on the main site here. You can also read up on a welcome post here which provides more info on the game, including that it will be released to North America and Europe “later this year”.
