Autumn Harvest 2014

The Autumn Harvest Annual World Event 2014 begins 30th Oct 3:30PM ST (NA:TC–CD) (EU:TC–CD) and ends at 13th Nov 3:30PM ST (NA:TC–CD) (EU:TC–CD) on November 19th! A whole heap of items have been placed onto the temporary World Event tab at the top of the RIFT Store (default key “]“) for world event currency and/or credits.

About Currencies

• Autumn Harvest Signets are limited currency earned through completing weekly quests during Autumn Harvest.
• Autumn Harvest Ambersap are unlimited currency that you can continue to earn by doing the repeatable quests over and over or through participating in rifts and zone events.
• Both currencies can be found at the bottom of your currencies tab in your character window (default key “c“).

Armored Nightmare Mount

Armored Nightmare Mount

A new Armored Nightmare Mount is up on the RIFT Store front page temporarily for Autumn Harvest. They are a rare drop from the Limited Edition: Armored Nightmare Trove that costs 700 Credits (630 for Patrons).

Warning: Apparently right now although the cost says 630 for Patrons, it charges 700 so be careful. If you purchase any keep an eye out for this and bug report it/contact a GM if it takes that extra 70 credits from you.

• Land Mount.
• 155% mount speed or matches your fastest mount.

The Autumn Harvest Grab Bag is back with all the familiar Autumn Harvest Masks from last year. This year there’s at least two new masks and at least 5 new weapon models.

Autumn Harvest Grab Bag New Contents

New on the list are:

• Wizardly Jack o’ Lantern Mask
• Feline Mask
• Grim Smasher
• Grimstone
• Grim Blade
• The Reaper
• Grim Shot

Like in previous years, the masks are all tradeable so you should be able to find any that you are missing on the Auction House. Just search for “mask” or “Missing Head” in the Auction House search field.

There are achievements found under World Events -> Autumn Harvest for equipping last year’s masks with rewards like The Armored Reaper mount. (although you can now get the Reaper mount (Unarmored version) under RIFT Store -> World Event for 20 Autumn Harvest Signets or 1,350 Credits (1,215 for Patron).

A costume outfit bundle is available on the RIFT Store front page for 1,500 Credits (1,350 for Patrons). It uses items from the crafted Titanium (armorsmith) set that have used a yellow dye (probably Goldenrod). Also comes with one of the Jack O’Lantern masks and two Burning Pumpkin weapon costumes.

The Reaper Mount

Reaper and Armored Reaper Comparison

The Reaper Mount that was originally a rare drop from Crucia’s Reaper Supply Crate can now be found under RIFT Store -> World Event for 20 Autumn Harvest Signets or 1,350 Credits (1,215 for Patron). This is different from the Armored Reaper mount that you can get from completing the “Reaping What You Sow” achievement found under Achievements (default key “h“)-> World Events -> Autumn Harvest.

As you can imagine, the Reaper Mount does not have the armor that the Armored Reaper mount possesses. Both match your fastest mount speed.

The accessories for this year’s Autumn Harvest are limited to earrings of varying levels. Above you can see the Cleric Level 65 Earrings as an example.

You can still get the old rings and essences from Sorel <Ascended Goods> NPC inside the Autumn Harvest instance.

There’s three minions available for this Autumn Harvest – Azumel, Scythe and Necrawler found under RIFT Store -> World Event.

There’s also multiple Harvesting Adventures found in the 10hr adventures slot.

Hey folks. I just wanted to let you all know that there are six new Autumn Harvest adventures that are now live! Each of these adventures can appear in the rightmost available adventure slot. If you don’t regularly do these now’s the time to get started. Completing one of these special autumn harvest adventures will earn you a special achievement as well as special rewards including masks, boxes and much more. [r]

Also note that Minions are cluster-wide so you can buy them with an alt (to save the limited currency on your main).

New Achievements

There’s two new achievements for Autumn Harvest 2014 found under Achievements -> World Events -> Autumn Harvest.

Go Forth, My Minions!

You’ll need to complete one of the 6 Autumn Harvest Promotional Adventures. These can only be found by chance in the 10hr minion slot. You can access your Minions via default key “v“.

A Spooktacular Harvest

You will need to complete 6 achievements related to the Autumn Harvest:

• Monster Mash involving the temporary alternate Black Garden Warfront;
• Reaping What You Sow involving equipping all Autumn Harvest 2013 masks;
• Noble Puppet: Master for collecting all Noble Puppet companion pets from RIFT Store -> World Event. (or Auction House)
• Fae Puppet: Master for collecting all Fae Puppet companion pets from RIFT Store -> World Event. (or Auction House)
• Go Forth, My Minion! as mentioned previously, doing all 6 Autumn Harvest Promo (10hr) Adventures.
