RIFT news tidbits for 22nd April 2015.

General

• RIFT 3.2 Hotfix #2. Rhen of Fate now drops 2 items per boss instead of 1. A couple fixes for 3.2 bugs; NT onslaught changes and lots of buffs to certain item procs. Check out full information here.

• Background Sound Fix Delayed. The fix for the background sound bug has been delayed. Expected ETA is next week’s hotfix. [r]

• Hammerknell IAs Up on PTS. HK IAs are up on the PTS for testing. Right now you can only either solo queue or manually invite players to your group. If you have any feedback, please post them here or use the in-game feedback report.

• Instant Adventure Anti-Leeching Info. The AFK timer for IAs will kick you after 2 minutes of inactivity. You then get a 15min debuff that prevents you from joining IAs. This timer will not go down if you are not online on that character. If you are going for a bathroom break, it’s best to leave the IA group and then rejoin when you are back. [r]

• Instant Adventure ‘Level Requirement’ Issue. With the latest hotfix, Trion changed auto-mentoring for IAs to occur after you teleport to prevent the issue of players being mentored down whilst they are still in combat. However, this has caused a ‘Level Requirement’ issue for players who do not have sidekicking enabled. If you are getting a level requirement warning when you try to join or teleport in an Instant Adventure, please make sure you right-click your portrait and have Sidekicking enabled (it is disabled by default).   • If you are ever far away from the IA group, open up your IA window and the ‘Join’ button should be a ‘Teleport’ button. [r]

• Instant Adventure Merging Issue. The issue with IAs ‘hanging up’ and not having any objective is still present this week. It happens when two IA groups merge. If you don’t see any objectives pop up in your IA group for a while, it’s best to leave the group. ETA on fix is next week’s hotfix. [r]

• Recipe: Red and Orange Stars Fix. The current Red and Orange Stars made by Survivalists requires the old silver dyes which are no longer purchasable. The recipes will be fixed and their dye requirements removed. [r]

• Rift Wardrobe: Veteran Vendor. Forgot about the Veteran Vendor? Never heard of it? No problem – get your Guardian and Defiant guard sets; Ceremonial Hero set and a few other extras! More info here.
